BarTender Formats for the Sack and Tray Tags Required by the U.S. Post Office
As of July 1, 1997, the United States Post Office requires the usage of new
sack tags and tray tags to receive the best bulk mail rate.
This page contains BarTender formats (templates) for a sack tag and a tray tag
that fit within the United States Post Office tag specifications. These files
are currently formatted for an HP LaserJet Series II printer, but can be
modified quite easily to work for any other printer. Also included with the
compressed (zipped) file below is a sample data file that is designed to work
with these formats. You can modify the data in this sample data file using any
text editor (such as Notepad).
After downloading either of the self-extracting files below, double-click the
file icon (or run from a command line) and three (3) files will be extracted
(sacktag.btw, traytag.btw, po_mail.dat). You will probably want to move these
files to the same directory as your other BarTender formats.
