Frost & Sullivan Honors BarTender® with Food Safety Software Customer Service Leadership Award
Seagull recognized for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance
Bellevue, WA — September 15, 2016 — Seagull Scientific announced today that Frost & Sullivan has presented its Customer Service Leadership Award for Food Safety Software to BarTender® barcode and labeling software. Seagull President and CEO Harold Boe accepted the award on behalf of the company's employees at the Frost & Sullivan-sponsored awards gala in Santa Clara, California on Monday, September 12.
Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Awards are presented each year to companies that are predicted to encourage significant growth in their industries, have identified emerging trends before they became the standard in the marketplace, and have created advanced technologies that will catalyze and transform industries in the near future.
"BarTender by Seagull Scientific is the ideal Food Safety software barcode labeling system because it offers a multitude of benefits unmatched by competing systems,” Frost & Sullivan published in their industry analysis. "By providing customers with the proper fit to their requirements, a solid support program, and a system that can be upgraded to ensure the best efficiency, safety, and security, BarTender stands out in the industry.”
In accepting the award, Boe said, "We"ve been in business for more than 30 years, but like a lot of technology companies, it took us a long time to realize we"re not actually in the technology business.
To our customers, we"re in the food safety business. And the logistics efficiency business. And the supply chain enablement business, and the healthcare safety business, and the pharmaceutical anti-counterfeiting business, and on and on.
"We"re proud of our strong technology, our deep devotion to customer service, our commitment to our partners, and our consistent financial stability and growth.”
